2009 St.Johns NCO camp

Phew!
Today i just came back from the most tiring camp i ever had. It is a 5 day 4 night camp from 10 to 14 of December, it is to build our leadership skills. This requires strict disipline so the trainers will be strict when needed to be.

When i arrived on day 1, the trainers shouted at us to quickly fall in for uniform inspection and they want us to move quickly as we need to have a sense of urgency at all times. It took quite a while for the inspection to be done. Then we move on to our bunks and change to our T-shirt and shorts, we have to seal the windows with newspaper nicely if not, we have to redo it. After that they wanted to check our bags to see if we brought any prohibited items to the camp, so we have to take every thing out from our bag and standardise our things. After that we had lunch before that we have to tell the massing officer what's the total strengh of our group. At night we had casuaty simulation; that is to make wounds and it was quite fun.

On day 2, we have to wake up at 6am and it was really tiring as we only got 6 hours of sleep. After washing up we have to fall in and take attendance, then we had breakfast. After that we have to change to our SJAB uniform to do foot drills. After foot drills we change back again. After lunch we had briefing for our hike the next day and i am looking forward to it as we will be hiking at Palau Ubin and i've never been there before. We the rest of the day learning compasses and maps as it is essential for hiking.

On day 3, we woke up even earlier at 5.30am because of the hike. we arrive at Palau Ubin at 7am. The reason we arrive so early is because we are going to have a long hike. Our trainer will tell our group the destination and we have to use the map to navigate our way to the place. we didn't have any problem finding the first few locations but then it started to get tougher and tougher. In the afternoon we cooked our own lunch using solid fuels to start the fire. After the lunch we continued hiking until 3pm then we stop hiking and get ready to go back to the campsite. In my opinion, i think the hike end much sooner than i thought though. we we reached the campsite we took a quick shower and had campfire prepertion next.

On day 4, we had another campfire preperation. Before we start our campfire we have to shift the the benches to the parade square around the fire. I really enjoyed the campfire especially the performances.

On the last day, we cleaned our bunks and packed our bags and went back home.

Before the camp i thought i won't be liking it but in the end ithought it was quite fun and i learnt alot from it too.

My sec 2 camp

On the 28th to 30th of october 2009 i had my sec 2camp. The place is located in changi near the airport and we can often see planes departing from the airport past the campsite. Other than that i was looking forward for the camp.

On the first day, we did water activities . One of it was kayaking and i can't wait to get on with it, unfornately it started raining and we cannot kayak. After the rain, we did rafting when we have to build a raft using barriers and pipes, then we have to sail it. During the first night i couldn't sleep well as we have to sleep on the wooden floor, at that point started to miss being at home.

On the second day, we woke up early and did some morning stretches. After breakfast we did rock climbing, balance rope, flying fox and other high element activities. the activities i like most are the rock climbing and the flying fox. After our dinner is campfire night, all the groups have to perform a cheer they have prepared during camp. I had quite alots of fun during the campfire.

On the last day of the camp, we had area cleaning and camp debriefing from our instructors. Then we went back home. Overall i enjoyed the camp.

Mid year exam completed with a BANG!

Finally the bloody mid year exam is over!!!!!!!!!!And very satisfied especially during the last exam none other than my best subject Science as i sailed through the paper without any problems at all and with plenty of time to spare.This gives me good hopes for my streaming.Now i feel lots of freedom as it's the marking day today and tomorrow.Unlike before when i don't even have enough time to blog during the weekend sometimes when i have time my sturbbon brother always asked me to play with him instead of blogging,what other choice do i have,i can't say no
(he can get really furious he is sturbbon).

Hi there!Long tme no blog

It has been a busy day at school and i didn't have time to blog especially during to holidays as i had lots of homework to catch with.I am also doing some daily revision to score well in that crazy streaming exam.

Cross Country

Give me a moment.....................................Okay now am ready to begin.On 7thFeb our school had held a cross country race around and we had to run 4.3KM around Bedok resirvor the run took me about half an hour to complete and i was quite satisfied with what i have achieved as i've got 67TH place out of 180 Sec2 boys and improved my last year's placing of 101st place but i still didn't get any medals!Right after the cross country i still had to go for my tuition.The past few weeks had been very busy for me and i might be blogging as usual already.

Just busy

The first few days of Chinese New Year has been quite busy for me and my family and i still have to complete my homework.Just now one of our came for visiting.The reason why my tagboard gone because my friend wanted to help me change myblogskin to an F1 related skin but i was not contented with skin so decided to change it back,that cause my tagboard to disappear but it'll be back soon.And i think that i'll be even busier when school starts again.

WHOOO Hubstation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know that i'm a very big Formula1 fan,that's why i installed some F1 video bars for your entertainment and you might also find my blog title weird right,that actually meant Formula1 in japanese interesting right!?Because the new season of F1 is about to start,My father decided to buy a Hubstation to record races and other shows.WHHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Ox year

Today my school celebrated chinese new year.The concert was nice,especially the wushu performance.The funniest item was the drum playing performance because 1 of the drumers dopped the drumstick 2 times AHAHAHA.But i'm more looking forward for the long weekend as i can finally chilax from school.This is also my early chinese new wishesto all of you

After 2 weeks...

After 2 weeks i can start can start to feel some stress.I start getting lots of homework(especially from my math teacher)and i had to sleep around 10p.m plus duing the weekdays.Lately i have been busy with my CCA(St.John), today i had my CCA orientations and i had to persuade the Sec1 to join SJAB.It lasted until 12.30p.m.Well i have to stop blogging by now as i have some homework to catch up with.

School update (week 1)

The first few days of school was a bit boring as teacher didn't teach much,instead some of them play some games with us.But i can't be too relaxed as i will be streamed this year i have to do very well to meet my parents expectations(DANG!!!).
